You are inimitable.
The four astrological houses of your moat.
Some say it’s your brand. Others say it’s your list, certifications, processes, or whatever is filed in the folder marked “competitive advantage.”
I think your moat is the version of you nobody else can be.
And if you can’t name yours confidently, your birth chart will help you define it.
Moat is an old word. Warren Buffett started using it in 1986 to describe the kind of business advantage a competitor can’t just buy. It sat quietly as an investing term until 2023, when a leaked internal memo from inside one of the major AI labs argued nobody in the field actually had one. That’s the moment the word stopped being quiet and started sounding like the key to success.
In the next few years, most of us are going to have some form of AI working for us, in some capacity, all the time. Once that’s true for everyone, the tool itself stops being anyone’s advantage. Nobody’s moat is going to be “I use AI.” Everybody will be using it.
So if the tools aren’t it, what is?
1st house: your persona itself. The instant read. What a stranger clocks about you, even if just observing from across the room or watching you on a Zoom call.
8th house: how you build trust. This is why a client stays even when a competitor undercuts your price, because leaving you would mean starting over and walking away from the bond you built.
9th house: your ethos. The core life philosophy underneath why you’re dedicated to this work in the first place. No AI has that driving force behind it. It’s human.
10th house: your track record. Not talent. It’s dedication to the thing that calls to you, and the reputation that you built from never giving up.
Consider all four together. Look at the sign ruling each house, and any planets sitting inside it. That combined analysis is highly unique to you.
Pull up your chart. Sit with these four houses. Write down what’s actually protecting you when someone tries to imitate your business, AI-assisted or not.
