Work With the Sky: Week of August 24 – 30

Every full moon asks two opposing forces to find a workable integration. This time it’s the August 27/28 full moon lunar eclipse when the Moon in Pisces opposes the Sun in Virgo.

Pisces senses what could be possible, while Virgo defines the procedures required to make it actually work. While Pisces can drift into fantasy, Virgo is highly pragmatic. This eclipse asks us to let go of any unhelpful Pisces delusions.

At the time of this eclipse, Mercury is aligned with the Sun in Virgo. That brings us sharp clarity around the practical steps required to reach our goal. Across from that, the Pisces Moon is tied to the North Node in Aquarius, pulling us toward independence, experimentation, and a willingness to stop accepting the conventional answer simply because it gets immediate head nods.

Uranus in Gemini squares the whole thing, shaking up both sides of the lunar eclipse, and changing a mental framework that is past its expiry date. The old Pisces illusion will no longer hold, and the best response is a graceful goodbye, although difficult, probably. You may suddenly understand that a false narrative has been keeping you stuck, or that the way you have been trying to make the vision real needs a much bigger reinvention.

For entrepreneurs, this can look like a breakthrough moment. You see something differently, and once you see it differently, you cannot keep building the same way.

Two practical steps to guide you through this eclipse.

1. Do not default to consensus, but be willing to recognize where your thinking needs to be updated. Change your mind with intention. Get clear on what has shifted and why.
2. Contemplate what has reached its end, whether it’s an offer, a lead gen strategy, a content creation plan, or a definition of success that was being sustained by blind hope rather than balanced realism.
